From MVTA's Facebook page:
"The Rosemount Transit Station and 157th Street Station Electrification and Enhancements project was recently selected to receive $952,000 in federal funding thanks to various legislators, who submitted the project to the Senate Appropriations Committee for 2024 Congressionally Directed Spending. This project supports MVTA's Sustainability Plan initiatives and will bring much-needed safety and sustainability improvements to MVTA stations, including EV charging infrastructure for both customers and buses."

Not sure how much of that money is going towards 157th Street Station, but I can't see why MVTA wants to invest more in it since it doesn't have any bus service currently, and it seems even pre-pandemic the "station" was underutilized considering a car dealership used part of the park & ride lot to store their inventory in 2019.

MVTA is beginning the process of replacing their bus stop signs! First route to be updated will be 442. It's a nice improvement, and I think it will be much more visible from a distance compared to the current ones. I'm also a sucker for the MVTA color scheme, and the route descriptions are a nice touch too.
