I'm sorry, I guess this is the wrong place to have a difference of opinion. I was hoping for a reasonable explanation that might lessen my concerns. This is obviously not the forum. What scenario do you see playing out as a result of this lack of viability? What's the end result of such a scenario ...

On top of that... you also have to give Le Parisien credit for being one of the only newer buildings that has some charm and doesn't look like a box. It's actually one of my favorite apartment buildings in Minneapolis as far as architecture goes. It adds a lot to the neighborhood IMHO.

The rendering almost makes it look like the brown part would be wood... I think it would have been really classy looking had it been the same wood looking material they used on Elan of uptown.

This development is not tacky. It saves the area. The area for the most part is a dump. What is tacky is the large surface parking lot for the Wedge across the street. This does not "save the area." A lot more has to go in this corner for it to be saved. The sidewalks and tree-lined boule...

That looks good! I'm trying to figure out how the plan is for a new 150 seat Garage Theater AND 5 retail bays... It just doesn't look big enough for that.

Thanks John. Were the fire pits discussed at all? The presenters said many of details haven't been worked and the they are working more on the general design. They still need to get the bonding, etc. And even with a 50 million dollar budget they hinted its going to be tight. I'm getting the feeling...
