How's this coming along. I'm in Florida now so I can't see this stuff go up anymore.

Re: Orange Line / 35W@94: Downtown to Crosstown Project

If it was a train, it would get way more riders. I dont care what anyone says. Trains are just more attractive. Calling it brt, is a way to make it sound better. It's just a glorified bus. It's a bus that doesn't stop as frequently and probably just as fast as a train would be. But it's still viewed...

Re: RBC Gateway (Four Seasons) - 37 stories - 519'

Why do people on here always have to be so negative or make such snarky comments I'm so sorry you were offended . Truth is truth. Adults accept that. You guys are all a bunch of passive aggressive fuck wads. Was wondering why I even continued to bother following this site. Glad I no longer live in ...

Ugliest building in the neighborhoid. Stands out like a sore thumb. I can't believe this design was ever approved

Re: Star Tribune Blocks

Even with the lawsuit setback, I think this will get approved by finding the 65 million elsewhere. It does appear that the ramp and park are benefitting the Vikings and to say that it's not would be false. I do think a judge will accept the terms of the lawsuit but the money will come from somewhere...

Re: Star Tribune Blocks

I don't see how the Vikings have any say over anything visible during football games not immediately connected to the stadium. The Twins got annoyed by a new ad put up on the Target Center that you could see from the seats, but what could they do? It wasn't their building. Wellsfargo would be using...

Re: Star Tribune Blocks

But would Wells Fargo do both their office rooftop signs and stadium signs? I thought the whole idea of the signs was for publicity. If they had a huge sign on the stadium roof there's not much point in two smaller ones nearby, is there? Yeah, I can't see the need for 2 smaller signs either. I'm th...

Would Wells Fargo have to pay the Vikings a fee for having the signs?

Re: Star Tribune Blocks

I don't know about the stadium but as far as this project going forward it looks as though there is plenty of momentum . I wouldn't be surprised if this project is approve within the next few weeks.

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

If they could get a few 400-500 foot buildings to fill in the gaps to the left, downtown Minneapolis would look huge heading north into downtown on 35w.

Re: 400 Marquette Avenue

Too bad this suddenly dense block sits next to a completely empty block. Hopefully something grand is envisioned for that place, as it is one of the last parcels right on the Mall. That and the parking lot between henn and Nicollet. It would be nice to see that get filled to continue the liveliness...

Re: Red Line (Cedar BRT)

http://m.startribune.com/news/?id=182912841&c=y so how does this work. Catch a city bus, ride it for fifteen minutes to the mall wait longer for a train going the same direction and sit on that for an additional 45 minutes.
