I feel like she's been nearly invisible as my Senator for 7 years (I hear from Wagenius far more often) so why would I think she'd be more visible as a Member of Congress?

You'd think there's a way to activate your vacant parcels (and maybe even generate some revenue!) while you await those ambitious projects. I mean, come on. https://goo.gl/maps/Y7Q3teN5qMD2 Get some hipsters and shipping containers, stat!

Re: Cedar Ave - Nokomis Area

4700 Cedar site plan was approved by City Planning Commission with all conditions recommended by the staff report, and an additional condition of approval requiring one curb cut on Cedar instead of two. That last one definitely throws a wrench into the site plan, and I'm expecting possible appeals b...

The state has a solution to their Hwy 53 'problem' in Virginia MN. A 220M bridge over a quarry- http://www.startribune.com/local/blogs/283107421.html It could be a stunning landmark for the range, but looks to be a very tall freeway bridge. http://www.dot.state.mn.us/d1/projects/hwy53relocation/pdf...

Wagenius voted against Sunday Sales. I hope she, and Torres Ray if the senator upholds her position, face primary challengers.

Dynamically price freeway capacity in the metro, at a price sufficient enough to ensure LOS A. First make sure any revenue goes to cover maintaining the existing freeway network. Then apply operational surpluses split evenly four ways: 1/4 strategic freeway expansion, 1/4 freeway alternatives (corri...

Best would be to get rid of express fares and instead charge for parking. https://streets.mn/2014/03/18/the-dirty-truth-behind-park-rides/ Second best would be to not worry about freeway running vs not, but instead charge express fares on routes that connect exclusively to large park & ride faciliti...

I absolutely agree. And I also hope that they aren't valuing these parcels based on parking revenues, since it always seemed like you had the one ramp which was extortionary and the other which was below-market for parking.

I was figuring, with this swap plan, that the City would get an easement on the north side to the existing jail skyway connection, and then can reroute the skyway to an interior corridor.
