The mayor also questioned why other alternatives, such as elevated or underground rail, were not considered.
Props for thinking big, I guess.

Outrageous. I thought there was a rule about all stadiums being accessible from the Green Line.

Here they are - I don't think there have been any changes since this set, nearly a full year ago.

Wow, that's quite an upgrade. Too bad about the bike pylons - you can always tell when the person in charge of specifying the bike infrastructure has never biked for transportation, or even really thought about it.

Re: Vision Loss Resources Redevelopment - Lyndale & Franklin

The recently-approved TIMBR building in the North Loop is going to be ten stories of mass timber construction, so at least that tall. The limiting factor there is the historic district height limitations, though, so I'm not sure what the code maximum height is.

Re: Nicollet Ave Apartments - 1700 block of Nicollet

If I remember correctly, Yellow Tree also has an approved proposal for a similar building on the other side of Nicollet on the parking lot between the hardware store and the freeway. Hope that's still gonna happen.

Re: Proposed Tower in Wedge @ Frank/Lyn

According to Wedge Live, it's an IZ thing. They're going to ask for a variance to increase FAR from 1.7 to 2.7, a 59% increase. A 60% increase is the trigger for the affordable unit requirement under the interim IZ policy. I don't know that a 20-story tower would have penciled out here, but there's ...

Re: RBC Gateway (Four Seasons) - 37 stories - 503'

This is coming back to the CPC next week for revisions: packet . Changes: further engineering to the beam depth and elevator overruns led to the total height increasing from 503' to 519', which I think is what required another CPC process instead of administrative approval. Two floors of hotel rooms...

Yeah, it really seemed like this wouldn't be competing for the Eleven market. Though, I guess it would be competing with TIMBR and the new vacancies in the Legacy. Hopefully whatever they go with will still be tall enough to piss off Neighbors for East Bank Livability. I don't care as much about the...
