There’s a cheese monger no less. Love that Lund’s. If you mean "someone that stands behind the cheese counter", sure, but last time I was in there they didn't have or know what Cotija was. That's like not knowing Cheddar. Every Mexican place in the city puts it on their refried beans. I s...

The Lifetime Fitness at Southdale Center looks like it actually will have significant separation from the Hennepin Service Center wing of the mall. I assumed it was going to share a wall like JCPenney did. But that space separating the building is also wider than a standard utility corridor. Really...

Vic's has closed. No word yet on what will replace it. Tugg's has been purchased by Jeff Arundel, the owner of Aster Cafe and Jefe. After the Super Bowl it will be getting a much needed remodel, and will remain a pub, but with better food. Vic's will apparently be used for office space. Hopefully t...

Re: Target Center Renovation

The dark brown siding is starting to go up on the 2nd Ave side of the building. I tried to get a photo but the windows in the ABC ramps skyways are so filthy that it didn't work.

I will reserve judgment on the siding until more of it is up.
