Re: Legacy Condominiums - 121 12th Ave S

As a person actively looking for a condo downtown, I can't see myself living here. This place looks, as Trump says, "huge!" But not in a good way.

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Retail News

The thing is I, like many people who live in my building, have a pretty expendable income. We talk about wanting better retail and restaurant options downtown. Nordstrom Rack is not better retail but is another Rack store in the metro. We need/want new stores to enter the metro market, downtown. It ...

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Retail News

Just what we need, another bargain bin for the riff raff downtown. Why can't we get some nice stores for a change? I guess we should start calling it Nicollet Outlet Mall. This!!! Another outlet store downtown is annoying. I can absolutely only speak for myself here but I am sure many people, they ...

Re: MSP Airport

So I was at the airport departing thursday and then arriving today. What are they doing with the areas that were previously check points? Now they are giant blank areas in the check-in area. Everything is just seeming a bit rundown, half done in this area of the airport.

I agree. Minneapolis downtown deserves more.

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Restaurant News

So happy Loring Kitchen is closing! Absolutely terrible food, small menu, and expensive. I really hope that something awesome can pick up this location because it really is a good spot, but I doubt anything will replace it. :(

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

Absolutely! LPM needs to have a crown lit up at night. I live in the building and I doubt the crown lighting would bother me, they should at least give it a try. Also, I hate when I'm looking at the building at night from around town and you can hardly see the building. Definitely needs more lighting!

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

I live at LPM as well. I LOVE it! The building is incredibly quiet. I can only hear my neighbors IF I am trying to hear them. We also love the floor to ceiling windows and sweeping views from Minnetonka to downtown St. Paul on our overly large balcony. I really enjoy this neighborhood as well. It is...

Re: Loring Park Neighborhood

Yes, I really hope Loring Park residents, especially those in favor of larger, taller, better buildings, attend the meeting! I absolutely love living in Loring Park, but I was recently spending some time in the Mill District and was astounded by the difference in the two neighborhoods. Now I underst...

Re: 4Marq - (313' - 30 Stories)

Ewww, I thought I was impressed with the interior renderings until I noticed the exposed ductwork in the 10th picture of the gallery. Come on 4Marq, its 2015, not 2012. Nor is it a warehouse converted into apartments.

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

Although not LPM building related, LPM management did post this on facebook. Yay for new restaurants in Loring Park! I love this area! It's a new restaurant where Joe's Garage used to be.

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Retail News

I enjoy your post 'minneapolitan!' I am new to downtown Minneapolis and I see so much potential for nicollet mall. I dislike the boring curved road full of buses, the wide and oddly quiet, I mean literally quiet, sidewalks, and the 1970's facade of many of the buildings. I really want to see more si...

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

So I think the addition of Eggy's Diner, (potential, due to it's location in another Magellan building) is a great thing, but how do you think Nicollet Diner would fair?!

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

This is my very first post. I have been following urbanmsp for about a year now and check it religiously. I had to create an account when I saw something was going to be in LPM. As a person who is moving to LPM this summer, I am very excited to see it will be a brewery. I think it will bring somethi...
