http://finance-commerce.com/2015/07/gap-closure-not-a-harbinger-for-downtown-minneapolis-retail/ Locked up but this is the 3rd article I've seen stating that talks are already well underway for a new tenant. Does anyone where where to pick up a paper copy of this edition? Hey Grant, As far as I kno...

Re: 1400 Park Avenue
Didn't get a chance to mention it in my original story last week (http://finance-commerce.com/2015/06/wei ... liot-park/), but the developer did mention some walk-up units along the sidewalk. Keep an eye on that as plans move forward through the summer/fall.

Re: Corner Apartments - (2nd St NE and 1st Ave NE)
Talked to the developer behind this one today, he said he's close to locking down a financing partner for the 57-unit proposal here. No story to link to, just FYI.

Re: West Side Flats - (84 Wabasha Street South)
First phase of development just south of Sherman's West Side Flats expansion will likely be 160 to 180 apartments. Developers are Dan Hunt and Weidner Apartment Homes. Still lots to work through on that site, though.

Adam Voge reporting that former Opus developers are planning a 27 story (!!!!!) tower somewhere in Stadium Village. Rendering looks to have it where Espresso Expose, Bun Mi, Big Ten & Village Wok are currently located. http://finance-commerce.com/2015/05/harbor-bay-assembles-sites-for-27-story-...

Re: Chittenden and Eastman Lofts & Flats - 2400-10 Universit
Is there a link to the article? Did it mention the street level being designed for retail? http://finance-commerce.com/2015/05/second-chapter-coming-for-st-pauls-ce-lofts/ They are creating a new retail space along Raymond and keeping two existing spaces along University. A lot of the ground floor ...

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Office Market
Only reason I ask is because this is a very interesting space. It looks right over TCF where P+W is working with Franklin St prop. As you already knew. Also if it's a bigger space I would assume there may be chance for expansion. Answer on this -- they're going from 11,832 square feet to 11,680 squ...

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Office Market
Perkins and Will is moving out of the Essex building and moving into IDS Center. This is big news for me cause I'll be touring in the summer
http://finance-commerce.com/2015/05/per ... ds-center/
PS: Adam, is this a bigger space than their Essex space?
Let me check on that.

Re: Downtown East Project (Ryan Companies / Wells Fargo)
I obviously can't speak for Ryan, but a more appropriate interpretation of the sale is that Invesco (the buyer) is the equity partner on the apartment projects. Ryan, Excelsior Group and Invesco will all be joint owners, as was the case with 222 Hennepin.

Re: 729 Washington Av N
Terrible lede/headline (Sorry Adam!). The problem has nothing to do with the proposed quantity of parking, or anything like that. The entire problem is that standalone parking ramps are prohibited by Minneapolis zoning code. Which, when you think about that as an urbanist, is an excellent regulatio...

Hey Everyone, Adam from F&C here. I'm not a spokesman by any means, but here to answer a few of the questions above. --House of Charity has a facility that abuts our old press plant, immediately south of Lehman's. That must have had a lot to do with their decision to buy, as they'll put up an L...
