Re: C Line - Penn Avenue North Rapid Bus

I've been on trolley busses in Shanghai, the connections had enough swing room so that the busses were not fixed to a single lane of traffic. They were able to easily move around the width of the street.

Re: C Line - Penn Avenue North Rapid Bus

IMO this is one of the underappreciated arguments for trolleybuses, streetcars, and other forms of electric rail. Electric propulsion is great, but not all electric propulsion is created equal. The ideal case for the environment is to transmit the energy to the vehicle while it's in motion, rather ...

Great infill for the area. Don't like the curb cut and garage fronting Nicollet, but I don't know where else they'd put it.

Once sales go through, they won't be confidential anymore. You can search the owner and how much they paid on the county website: https://www.hennepin.us/residents/prope ... ion-search

Re: What will it take to develop DTE?

Crazy to see how many of the ideas became reality... redelopment of KA block, bumpouts, Commons Park, HCMC development. Living in the area, I've been happy with much of the new development but even with all of those changes I feel like the area is still lacking an identity. What do people think wil...

Re: MSP Airport

I would think we will get competing Delta service to Dublin announced real soon I disagree. Delta already flies MSP-LHR. That route has a lot more demand than MSP-DUB. All the travel bloggers were quite shocked that Aer Lingus is coming here in the first place. We'll probably see Delta fighting off...

lol, the lead up to the rendering was something. They had all these design elements of buildings in the area, then they come out with ...drumroll... a gray box.

Very interesting about Lime's Access program! I'm glad they're trying. But it's frustrating that only EBT (food assistance) citizens are allowed to use SMS to unlock bikes. For those of us not on EBT, you may only use Lime's smartphone app. They must make a lot of $$$ selling the data they collect ...

Re: Scooter sharing

In the UK and Europe, it did take off and so using contactless payments is quite common. Transport For London now allows users to use their credit cards to pay for tube and b...
