Daily Forum Digest

For the frequent reader-/rare poster-types like myself, I'm curious if there is a way to consolidate all new posts (since yesterday or date x) on one page or document. It seems amusing asking for something like this on a forum, but this is typically my first source for development news. I think the ...

Re: Gold Line (Gateway Corridor BRT)

Pioneer Press: "Is the $485M St. Paul-to-Woodbury Gold Line bus worth it?" This floored me: Buses would run every 10 minutes during rush hours and every 20 to 30 minutes in off-peak times . They would operate from 6 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. That's even worse than the Red Line!...

Re: "A Line" Snelling Avenue Arterial Bus

And truthfully, it's not the deploying of the ramp that takes up that much time...it's the fact that the driver must get out of their seat to secure the wheelchair restraints. I'd estimate that action takes 2-3x as long as the actual ramp going up and down. In my experience, most of this delay come...

Re: RISE at Prospect Park - 2929 University Ave SE

oh wow. the facade of floors 2-6 facing university ave looks... terrible.

Re: Saint Paul - General Topics

St. Anthony Park is dense with character. It's exciting to see some multi-family housing going in there, and pretty surprising that there wasn't more of a neighborhood fuss over this.

That's a disappointment. Nadeau brought lot of charm to the corner of Hennepin and 28th.

Re: WaHu Student Housing - 1000 Washington Avenue SE

I saw a sign in the window of that space a few days ago- it was some pizza joint that I hadn't heard of. I can't find anything on google, but I'll try and get the specifics next time I'm in the area.

Re: Green Line (Central Corridor LRT)

I've definitely noticed an overall improvement as drivers get more accustomed to the route. It also seems like weekend drivers are typically much less seasoned than weekday drivers (despite the difference between 2- and 3-car sets).
