Re: Green Line Extension - Southwest LRT
The most recent CMC meeting had predicted trail reopening dates. They said they will try and improve upon these which I really hope happens because these suck. Kenilworth: 2025 Luce Line(bridge over tracks?): 2025 South Cedar Lake (Hopkins to France): 2024 Cedar Lake(Downtown): 2025 Minnesota River ...

Re: Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)
Here are a few of the pictures I took of the offloading in case anyone is curious. They delivered 2 cars as far as i could tell. I did not take many pictures since I was suppose to be at work when this occurred. The first image shows the attachment point between the ramp and the flatbed car. The sec...

The judgement to dismiss the project has been appealed and so the project will be delayed again while the lawsuit works its way through that appeals process. Also the project will be going back to the PC on September 23rd to amend the site plan due to some of the changes in the project, most notably...

Re: Art and Architecture Building Development - 3338 University Ave SE - 14 Stories / 155'
The lawsuit was dismissed last Wednesday though I suspect that will be appealed. Vermilion also sent out an update with a few changes to the building the most significant of which is that the condos are out and have been replaced with apartments. The building appearance is essentially the same with ...

Re: The Expo - 215 2nd St SE (285' - 26 Stories)
Disappointing to see that the tower has been removed along with the affordable housing building supposedly after HPC feedback. The change in the east block to a single 6 story structure is a significant downgrade. I am confused that they would back off so easily when they were able to get the tower ...

Re: Prospect Park - General Topics
With all the excitement of the grocery store opening today I should mention that plans for a 2nd grocery store on Malcolm just north of the transit-way continue to move forward. The most recent plans I have seen show a 2 level grocery store/restaurant at the base of a 12 story apartment tower with a...

Re: RISE at Prospect Park - 2929 University Ave SE
The location indicated on the map appears to be the same as Nord Haus and there is a similar map on that website but with different icons. The websites for both were designed by the same company upshift who I presume just changed the name of the apartment building and the icons on the map and decide...

It seems that the Metropolitan Council is considering removing the D line from the current revenue scenario of the Transport Policy Plan and placing it instead in the increased revenue scenario. https://lims.minneapolismn.gov/RCA/1727 https://metrocouncil.org/Council-Meetings/Committees/Transportati...

The Green line maintenance facility sits fairly close to the the BNSF line in fact the property has a rail line remnant on the eastern portion of it so i would not think a connection there would be hard.
