Re: Grandview District - Edina

Not that I care that much about a highway cap, but I do wish the pedestrian infrastructure in this area was improved. There is a whole transportation plan for Grandview that was done. Re: Minneapolis 2040 Comprehensive Plan

Corridor 4: “… New and remodeled buildings here should be 1 to 4 stories.”

Is there any reason to have 1-story buildings anymore, other than in industrial areas?

Shouldn’t you have to beg (via a variance) to get a 1-story building nowadays?

Sure, allow them, but are they the norm?

Re: St. Louis Park - General Topics

Will a 4-5 conversion just make vehicles drive faster? Will they narrow the lanes? Also, any talk of SLP adding streetlights to their neighborhoods with sidewalks? Otherwise it’s like the city rolls up the sidewalks at night. It’s creepy crossing the border into Minnekhada Vista with street lights o...

What about the shadows on the commercial building next door? [emoji6]

Re: Bicycle Infrastructure

What don’t we know? What will this tell us that’s new or different from, say, reading the new Copenhagenize bike book? And is it worth a delay of 2 years?

I went to the Hopkins Farmers Market yesterday for the first time, and it was just so lovely how the downtown area feels so alive & vibrant. What a huge change from 20 years ago when it was a ghost town.

Could F&C have chosen an uglier set of fourplexes to illustrate their point?

No, they could not.
