Re: Stadium Village
825 SE Washington Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55414 Did someone buy this building? CorePower Yoga closed the Stadium Village location in this building on Monday. It wasn't a huge money making studio but CPY owns the yoga scene here. During the school year the place was actually pretty busy. They have been ...

How the 2700 salt water pool? I haven't used it yet, but it's usually quite busy! The kids enjoy it a lot, but it's a little too shallow to do any laps. The 808 Berry pool is the same. If you want a pool workout I recommend buying a swimming belt bungee. I tie the belt to a lounge chair and put abo...

Re: The Hub Minneapolis - 600 Washington Ave SE (284' - 26 Stories)
Yeah, this location is going to kill. The Moos Tower coffee shop is kind of invisible - I was only vaguely aware it existed when I was at the U and you have to walk into the basement of a building to find it. Some folks just prefer Caribou over Starbucks or vice versa. With nearly 3000 students liv...

Eric Amel and Gayla Lindt (architects!) who live in the old Rapson homestead at 1 Seymour Pl have filed a variance appeal for the project. https://lims.minneapolismn.gov/File/2018-00862 Maybe they should spend some more time on their yard, which is like a sketchy forest of poison ivy or on their br...

Re: The Hub Minneapolis - 600 Washington Ave SE (284' - 26 Stories)
There is going to be a Caribou on the corner of the 1st floor. This reminds me how Burger King and McDonalds used to always be on opposite corners. I was hoping for a small chain since Expresso Expose closed up shop, but the coffee world is pretty cutthroat so I guess the economics weren't there. I ...

2700 Resident here. If anyone finds this thread from a Google search while researching this building, it's important to point out that Flaherty & Collins ousted the entire front office staff suddenly at the end of March. The new staff is not nearly as responsive as the previous staff. As Spring...

The two apartments that are planned to open for this site are named Miliberry Apartments and Legends of Berry. They are planned to open next year which seems like an aggressive schedule.

The only downside is 3329 University Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414. It is the building across the street is a naloxene and naltrexone distribution center, which brings out the locals in the morning. Most drug rehad centers are done with daily meds around 10am, but it can be a little sketchy before ...

Re: The Link at Prospect Park - 2929 University Ave SE
They opened the parking lot on Friday. I didn't realize that they have parking underneath this building. They also started stocking the shelves so they are definitely getting pretty close. I planned on checking out the inside sometime this week. It looks like they just have to finish cleaning up aro...

Have they announced the retail stores going in here? I figured a coffee shop was going into the Link, but I don't think that is going to happen anymore maybe one will open again here.

I think it is sometime in the middle of April. They haven't started stocking the place yet. They actually just put up the sign this week. Anyways no on site taproom like the Milwaukee location. Two thumbs down!

Fresh Thyme had a chance to knock this one out of the park. The southeast corner of the store looks to be where they are going to put the community room. It looks much more like an employee break room from the street than a community room.

Does anyone live here and can attest to the living conditions? I live over at 808 Berry, which has about 30% affordable housing units. I saw this place only does about 20% affordable housing, which is around 50 units. The 808 Berry really feels like glorified public housing. I know I sound crazy and...

Re: Gaviidae Common / Downtown YMCA
Sounds great. The ironic part about the downstairs gym is the design was built similar to a crossfit style gym. Most of the personal training clients are 50-70 year olds. I all for grandma and grandpa squatting 425 lbs and throwing around a bunch of kettlebells and ropes. I don't think a comment box...

Downstairs access is limited because there isn't a staff member there is a poor excuse for unused space. Let me know if you want to work out at 3 a.m. at Anytime Fitness or Snap Fitness. The space is eventually going to be open. I will bet you lunch over that one. It might take 6 months to a year to...

Re: The Link at Prospect Park - 2929 University Ave SE
The majority of The Link is going to be student housing. I highly doubt professionals/families/seniors need a fully furnished 3 or 4 bedroom or want to live with a bunch of undergraduate students.
