After the latest plan for Pier B, I hope it fails and some developer with deeper pockets build the 9 story version which I thought was one of the nicest proposed modern buildings in Duluth. I think David Salmela should design it-he's never done a high rise yet. That would be a far improvement over Krech Ojard's 80's design. By the way does anyone remember the proposed "VonJaro tower" from 5 years ago? I think that one is dead!

Park Point Hotel

Any information on that proposed 9 story hotel on Park Point in Duluth. It was announced a year and a half ago and was supposed to be completed this past summer. Is it stil alive or has it been cancelled?
