Re: C Line - Arterial Rapid Bus & Penn Ave Community Works Project

Sure... but those are in the early stages. Is the article including Orange, Gold and Rush lines too? That still only gets us to 6-7. Not 10.

Re: C Line - Arterial Rapid Bus & Penn Ave Community Works Project

From that article:
In the coming years, 10 more rapid-bus lines will snake throughout the metro’s busiest transit corridors
10? C and D. What else is the article referring to here?

I can't believe the just completed Nicollet project didn't lay down tracks. Really seems like we wasted money if this streetcar happens in the next 10 years.

Wow, the students must really love Cane's (full disclosure, it's my favorite chicken joint. I'm not judging). Cane's only has 5 locations around town and they are adding a second at the U!?!? wow.

Apparently the infrastructure budget plan that will be released tomorrow will be about easing the federal requirements, but require a lot more local money.

Are we doomed?

I was with it too until using the Rockies and a bullet train. Honest question, is the skiing along the north shore big enough?

Another "problem" with your idea. The Summer 2028 games are in LA. No way they put Winter 2026 or 2030 in the US.

What would you want to see up there? It's VERY industrial along University up there. Feels almost like the edge of the suburbs. Also University is basically a divided highway.

Don't forget that the Raiders are moving to Vegas! That will be a frequently used site for the Super Bowl.

There is also the new combo stadium for LA Rams and Chargers. That will likely be used a lot too.

Clearly the NCAA FF is the biggest of the upcoming national sporting events. Concerts don't get national coverage, but Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift (...

Do we have a thread for the MNLARS mess? This is the best one I could think of since the update will impact REAL ID. For those in the IT industry, is this exceptionally high cost or does it sound about right? Adding 63 call center staff... at $6M is almost $100k salary! That must include some benefi...

Re: Public Transit News and Current Happenings

In case it isn't obvious, rail bias is real. Its pretty easy to know where a train is and where it stops by finding the rails and the station. Buses on the other hand could be anywhere and just because there is a bus stop sign doesn't guarantee your route stops there or that the driver will see you...

I've had a feeling there would be changes to the restaurants on St Anthony Main for a while. They were stuck in the past and with the additional housing going up they were ripe for a reworking.
