Re: Forum Etiquette

As long as people take it in good faith and don't start leaving in droves because they've been shamed, sure why not...

Re: Twin Cities Ammunition Plant (Arden Hills)

^^^Then you have to ask yourself... What's louder an airport or a motor speedway? :) With the large and easily expandable Anoka County-Blaine Airport just 6 miles up the road, I don't really see them building a new airport here. The raceway might actually fit in with the northern burbs, good idea. A...

Re: Nice Ride Minnesota

it would be nice if they actually expanded this further south...where people would actually use the bikes to commute.
I was playing around with the new Beta GoogleMaps and their biking directions from end to end of the Blue Line are faster via Bike than on the LRT. :o

Re: Nice Ride Minnesota

As this program matures it would be cool if they could use technology and instant pricing to entice riders to move bikes back to stations that need replenishing. Say the U's station is low on bikes because they are all downtown. Offer the first 10 people to bike back to the U a free ride. You could ...

Rice Creek Commons (TCAAP site) - Arden Hills

Ramsey County has started demolition in hopes of bringing new development plans after Ryan Co. abandoned plans in 2009 and the Vikings Stadum Plans were moved to Mlps: http://www.startribune.com/local/stpaul/208954901.html Demolition has begun at the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant in Arden Hills,...

Re: Vikings Stadium

^^^ It would look better in a standard format like 16:9 rather than the 50'x50' square.

Looks like ~$200sq/ft. So $500,000 for the 50'x50'
I would suggest 40'x72' or 45'x80' ($576,000 to $720,000)

Like you said, it looks like there's room. :)

Re: Vikings Stadium

How do we get into these pointless discussions with pages upon pages of unnecessarily quoted text? Could we get a little moderation? Summary of above: Could the MLB ASG ever be held in the Vikings Stadium? Um probably not. Oh I looked it up definitely not. -Ze End I love baseball, more so than the N...

Re: State transportation financing and tax reform

...I just don't see the sales tax thing as a motivator for people to travel to MN to shop... Generally I agree with you because in the aggregate consumers are suppose to be rational as they teach in Econ. 101. Consumers are not always rational. Often not even when you look at the aggregate. Per you...

Re: Star Tribune Blocks

...It would be cool if they could save the facade... It's been talked about plenty. Actually a little surprised there hasn't been any public outcry, although I think many assumed it would be torn down. How about this, with say a future tower rising behind it built on the back of the Jail. :) http:/...

Re: Mobile Version?

If we did add it to the forum we would likely have to charge somewhere between $2 and $5 for it to recoup costs from our end. I'll talk it over and see what Nick & everyone thinks That's assuming you branded an UrbanMSP app for Tapatalk right? The code is free to turn on not? I may have missed ...

Re: Mobile Version?

Hey Shawn:
Is there a chance we could install the 'Tapatalk' plugin.
I'd prefer to use a standalone app if possible rather than using my slow browser.
