Re: Midtown Corridor

The bridge east end of the midtown corridor, are there any plans to extend the bike trail over it? It would come out very near the Shriners hospital,on E River Road.

Re: 2700 University Ave

I wonder if the equipment you saw belonged to the contractors that are doing work on the Emerald Gardens buildings. I've seen them storing equipment on the site.

Re: Prospect Park Station - (2901 Fourth Street Southeast)

Re: WaHu Student Housing - (1016 Washington Avenue Southeast

Thanks for that. I was wondering if anything was on deck for they plot of land. How perfect for some new housing and a grocery store. I know this isn't the right thread for it, but does anyone have any information about the future plans for this site?

Re: U of M Bike Trail

This is so great. I've taken this trail several times and at the east end of bridge 9 there is a coffee shop. I spoke with an employee there and she stated that this is the first summer they decided to stay open. And ever since the bike path opened up its been good for business. Was there some talk ...

Re: WaHu Student Housing - (1016 Washington Avenue Southeast

Agreed, a grocery store would go well there with apartments, light rail, and the prospect park neighborhood. Where is the closest place for people to shop who live in PPark? Probably university and Snelling with rainbow... Definitely a niche could be filled....even by a smaller store footprint like ...

Re: Episcopal Homes - (1890 University Avenue)

Any chance there would be some simple retail ground floor? Coffee shop or something? The rest of the development is behind a decorative gate, so maybe that wouldn't work.

Re: 825 Carleton St

Anyone know if there is any retail / housing development in the works on university near Hampton? Specifically across the street from the Lyric? The apartment building manager says that the developer who developed the Lyric is also the owner of the entire block across the street with the exception o...

Re: Prospect Park Station - (2901 Fourth Street Southeast)

Thanks for the map. So the surly site is on the north side of the transit way? Someone told me that it was going to be partly in the city of St. Paul.... Like a corner of it. I wonder what will go in the site just to,the north of overflow cafe, south of transit way? There seems to be some recent dem...

So, the recent demolition between the transit way and overflow cafe must be for this new prospect park station?

Re: WaHu Student Housing - (1016 Washington Avenue Southeast

Anyone know if there is a grocery store in the future for this property? Or perhaps one at the new prospect park development at the prospect park LRT station? Seems like a small or medium sized grocery store could do well in this area since there is nothing of the kind for miles around.

Re: Green Line (Central)

Does anyone know if the green line trains will have "priority" over the lights? Will they be able to "trip" the lights? Could be kind of frustrating waiting on university ave at a platform, and your train is just 50 feet / 5 minutes away waiting for the lights to go through their entire cycle. Just ...
