I like that they are thinking about adding some unique exterior lighting design elements but can't they come up with something that's not already part of the skyline.
Maybe a laser show with music? They have this in Hong Kong I hear.
Now that would be cool!

Re: Cambria / Fairfield Hotels - 41 10th Street N (former Ramada block)

A few thoughts...

A design fit for the suburbs (outer ring at that.)

Should be a slightly more affordable hotel option downtown than what currently exists.

Given the minimal investment, let's hope there is the ability to redevelop as the rest of the neighborhood builds up.

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Office Market

Anyone know anything about the Old Republic Title Builidng on 2nd Ave and 4th St? With little knowledge on occupancy, I feel the location, floor plates and aesthetics could make for a nice residential conversion.

Re: Plymouth Building Hotel Conversion - (12 6th Street Sout

Soo Line Building added an additional elevator to take you from the 18th floor to the roof top... I'm sure this is a much more affordable approach then using the existing elevator shafts. Then again 5 star hotels aren't always looking for the most affordable options.
