Re: Minneapolis Armory

They've had THIRTY years to get the Armory properly designated...and they wait until well after Abdul has started work on it? That's absolute B.S.

So in the news reports they talk about building the replacement track somewhere on East Bank Campus...there are not that many options with space for that?

Exactly. There are plenty of people who will circle and circle a parking lot looking for a spot close to the door, not just at Target, but at the health club!

Re: Minneapolis Post Office

I am curious about how enough people would get to a market like that. There will not be a lot of convenient parking, light rail is too far for others to walk (especially in winter), the major workplaces are even further, etc. The street car would be an option if/when that gets built I suppose..

Yes, which is why all the women's players were protesting and threatening legal action. They want to play on grass.

Re: Superior Plating site

Those could be townhomes...at least those would fit well with the townhomes on the other side of University. I would feel sorry for those residents if it turned out to be a parking garage across the street from their units though and that was their permanent view.

Re: Superior Plating site

I am curious every time it's mentioned why people are always pushing for the "historic 4th St alignment"? There is a townhome development on the other side of the tracks and there is no practical way that 4th st could be re-established through it.
