Re: Orange Line (35W BRT) & Lake St Transit Access Project

If the Orange Line is killed (or even delayed), might we see the Chicago BRT and Nicollet BRT/streetcar projects expedited?

Re: Southside - General Topics

It looks there are 8 apartments on the top 2 floors. All will be remodeled (including getting A/C). 1st floor will get some sort of restaurant/bar.

Sabri Property is listed as the new tenant.

Re: Southside - General Topics

There's something happening at the Roundup Beer Hall building at 2nd Ave & Lake St. As I passed by on the bus yesterday all the exterior windows had plastic taped over them. Looks like there's lots of various permits open with the city for upgrades and remodeling including one for a food plan review.

Sounds like there could be changes to what we've previously heard about the site.

MS3 was right. They got frustrated with the 400 foot height limit and gave up.

If an 18-month construction schedule finishes up in November of next year, construction must be beginning in May!

Re: U.S. Bank Stadium Construction Updates

My whole point was, the Vikings wanted to turn Chicago Ave purple. This would do just that while also paying tribute to one of the most renowned personas to ever come out of Minneapolis.

I really couldn't get behind renaming Chicago Ave, Vikings Way. I think I could get behind Prince Ave though. Dumb idea or fitting tribute?
