I can corroborate this. I heard them on several occasions late at night when I lived near the St Kate's campus. (The bells at least, not the announcements.)

Re: Downtown East - Wells Fargo / Radisson Red / Edition Apt

xandrex wrote:Nice building. But you'd think they'd want some form of service/retail in the building. Pretty much every building downtown has a coffee shop of some kind, which is pretty useful.
It will be connected to the Wells Fargo building at the skyway level which will have retail.

Re: Major League Soccer Stadium

The Forsyth Barr and Westpac stadiums on that page are both good (Westpac's in my home town). Forsyth Barr is interesting because it's "the world's only stadium featuring a natural grass pitch under a fully fixed roof." Worth investigating for a soccer stadium in Minnesota. Interesting. That didn't...

You're making it sound like Minneapolis is completely dark at night...

I think having lit signs on buildings would hardly make much of a difference.

Barclays Center cost about the same as US Bank Stadium to build (Over $1 billion)

Well, for what it's worth, there is a "Central Park" across the street. They certainly could have been more creative though. But I think that ship has sailed.

Also, looks like they're now calling the project "Central Park Commons". Can we get a mod to update the thread title?

They actually changed the address to 313 Washington Ave S from 301. The gal that gave me a tour this past weekend didn't seem to really know why, she said something about there being too many residences.

Perhaps this has been discussed, but would it be at all viable to do a trial run of "full priority" where the train always gets greens? I wonder what sort of response there would be in the community.
