Re: The Three Nine Four - Golden Valley

This appears to be under construction. A lot of trees have come down and there are trucks on site.

Re: Uptown Retail & Restaurant News

Looks like some of the 'For Lease' signs have come down in the old Falafel King space. Maybe something happening here again?

Re: Stadium Village 26-Story Tower (Harbor Bay Real Estate)

Happy to see several smaller retail bays instead of just one big one. I hope the local businesses that are there now are able to move back in.

This looks like it might have started construction. There is a new hole in the ground where this will be going.

Re: Stadium Village

The apartment complex formerly known as Melrose (at least, when I lived there) is getting some new siding. I wasn't able to get a picture, but the new color scheme didn't seem like much to write home about. Certainly better than the really dated pink and green that it was.

The sign in the window indicated it would be a wine/painting place.

Re: Stadium Village

Campus Pizza has closed (for good, based off their twitter). The Papa John's (?) immediately next to them has relocated as well. Is there something happening on this block, or is the pizza business just crashing in Stadium Village? I really like Campus Pizza and am sad to see them go.

I've looked and I can't find what brand this hotel is going to end up being. Has anything been announced beyond "extended stay" hotel?

Bigger question. When does Sally's open back up? I heard a rumor that Sally's will not be coming back into the new building. The owners had a falling out, or something like that, and Sally's is finished. The new story is that a Cowboy Jack's will be going in instead, but I have no proof of that.

Re: Minneapolis City Planning Commission

Thanks for the welcome. I've been reading this forum for a while and was pretty surprised to have our triplex be the topic of discussion. Our landlord emailed us a few hours ago letting us know that they are trying to get the property rezoned. I would think our landlord has a pretty good case for th...

Re: Minneapolis City Planning Commission

Soooooo.... funny story. I actually live in one of the units in 2924 Grand and we just came home to an eviction notice due to "illegal building" taped to our front door. Our landlord hasn't contacted us about this yet, but they've never been the proactive type. There wasn't really any info on the At...
