Re: Saint Paul - General Topics

It's for the Park 24 Apartments, designed by Collage Architects. http://www.park-24.com/ I'm not sure if I imagined it, because I hadn't noticed it before, but on the way home from work today I saw that a building on Como Ave in Saint Anthony Park had been torn down and there was a fence with a sign...

Re: Southside - General Topics

Noticed earlier this week that the old fuel tanks were being removed from the strip mall gas station spot at 47th & Cedar. When visiting Tom's Popcorn Shop a couple weeks ago, the owner shrugged when asked about what was happening with all of the empty space in the strip. He shrugged and reflected o...

Tonka on the Creek was topped out when I drove by today, but I didn't quickly find a leasing website, so I'm not sure how soon folks will be moving in.

It's been an incredibly long time coming, but it seems that there is finally some foundation work happening here.

Re: Minneapolis Fiber Internet and Cable Services

I don't think it's been asked yet... Why is USI doing roughly every other street, rather than filling in an entire area before proceeding? I've wondered the same thing. I live on Bloomington and my neighborss on 15th and 16th have been on the map all season, but has anything been installed on those...

Re: Downtown Minneapolis General Topics & Development Map

Looks like Symphony Place is repositioning itself as Bolero Flats. https://www.facebook.com/SymphonyPlace I can't say I found anything unique or interesting about these apartments apart from the Nicollet Mall view when a friend lived there 10 years ago. His unit was bordering on needing a major over...

Fairly certain that's the new Labor Headquarters, replacing the building just torn down at 411 Main for the Higher Ground project.

I noticed it above the trees back in the Spring, but haven't seen any web presence anywhere. Stevens Construction out of Madison is the GC, and they have one pic of the bridge to the island.

And the large Bloomington site at American Bouldvard & 34th Avenue (IndiGO at Bloomington Central Station - what a name). Maybe something has happened in the last few weeks, but it looked as dead as a doornail in mid-June.

First phase of development just south of Sherman's West Side Flats expansion will likely be 160 to 180 apartments. Developers are Dan Hunt and Weidner Apartment Homes. Still lots to work through on that site, though. http://finance-commerce.com/2015/06/weidner-hunt-plan-rentals-in-elliot-park/ Wron...

I've also thought both of the south corners of the 42nd & Bloomington intersection could be redeveloped -- one of those auto repair shops is pretty tired looking.
