Anecdotally, I have to agree that the University wastes piles of money on bueracray. The original WSJ article brings up a case where processing a $12 parking reimbursement cost the University $50-$75, and hearing that doesn't surprise me at all. I think McDonalds would be willing to give up their parking for a pretty penny. But they would NEVER give up the drive through, and the spots surrounding it.
