According to this article Clarke is Jacob Frey's wife which is kind of an odd twist.

Re: Hi-Lake and Minnehaha Mall Area (Target, Cub, etc.)
^Having worked at that Target for a few years I can tell you an entrance facing Lake isn't very likely. The entire side of the building facing Lake is the backroom and employee office area. Unless they do a major remodel I don't see it happening anytime soon which is too bad. I've heard stories that...

Re: Street, Road and Highway Projects
Interesting...so the city at some point in recent history added another 4-way stop to this collector street? Wild. I could be wrong but I swear there wasn't one at 51st when I moved into the neighborhood. I can see why they are both there and as strange as it is to have 3 4-way stops in a 4 block s...

Re: Street, Road and Highway Projects
I always figured the 52nd Street 4-way stop had to do with kids walking to the elementary school a few blocks west. Since they added the one at 51st when the library re-opened it probobly isn't very necessary anymore though.

It's been a couple months since I've been to Surly but i'm pretty sure if you count the blacktop multi use trail along the transit way as a sidewalk there are sidewalks the entire way.

Re: Minneapolis 311
I have had some luck re-opening the closed request with new comments or a picture. I've also quoted city ordinances. Overall though 311 is still super frustrating. Things are ignored or closed for bogus reasons.

I've heard the same rumor from a couple of different sources but haven't seen any printed confirmation anywhere. Apparently Yesterday was supposed to the their last day open as White Castle.

It was probably a Prime Now delivery. I think they use independent contractors. They offer 1 or 2 hours deliveries.

Re: Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)
Has anyone seen any info on if the new layout will include more bike racks? The type II's decreased the number of bike racks from 4 to 2 when they reconfigured the handicap seating areas.

Re: Blue Line (Hiawatha LRT)
I do feel like there is a lot going on at this intersection. I bike through there pretty regularly. I don't like riding through it especially when going south. You first have to worry about crossing the intersection without getting hit by right turning vehicles. Then there is a pretty sharp right to...

Awesome. I also live about a block away and I've always enjoyed Capps but felt it would be nice to be able to get a drink with a meal. Adding a brewpub should be a big success. I'm hopping to make it to the meeting to check out the plans.

I emailed Andrew Johnson earlier this week about the removal. I've found him to be pretty responsive whenever I've emailed. He basically just said he reached out to public works and they've agreed to engage the community about their future before any removal takes place.
