Re: Major League Soccer in Minnesota

I suppose "Minnesota United" might simply be McGuire's clever way of alluding to his UnitedHealth money...
Hahaha. That's rich.

Re: Nic on Fifth - (455 Nicollet Mall)

It is crazy seeing such an empty hole in the skyline when facing this direction.

Re: Super Talls

I'm surprised how few supertall fans there are on here. I would be curious to see if the people on here could have one building added to our Minneapolis skyline, of their height preference, how tall would it be? 1000'ft - 1100ft would be my preference. Re: Vikings Stadium

Just over a week until we are all very happy or mightily disappointed. I'm leaning towards happy. This will likely be the last major arena/stadium in the Twin Cities for quite a while, so we better go big. The leaks of the design point to just that.

Re: Introductions

Howdy, guys. I've been lurking here for a while now. I figured it would be time to actually contribute. I graduated from the U this past fall, BS Urban Studies, and currently live in the Atlanta area. Lived in Connecticut and Virginia, too, but that is a distant memory.

Cheers.

Re: Super Talls

As my first post (lurked here forever), I'll say we're due for something taller than the Big 3. However, it better fit in with the environment and look well-placed. If it sticks out like the Mecca Royal Hotel Clock Tower, then no thank you.
