Unrelated but I read the twins are exploring making the saints an affiliate. Which means they wouldn't play in the northern league.

So it's also safe to say that that bridge would never be used for LRT or Trolley use.
A related question: is the gauge of the tracks for LRT and trolley the same? That is could they ever be interchangable?

The bridge east end of the midtown corridor, are there any plans to extend the bike trail over it? It would come out very near the Shriners hospital,on E River Road.

I wonder if the equipment you saw belonged to the contractors that are doing work on the Emerald Gardens buildings. I've seen them storing equipment on the site.

Well, that site is looking like its ready for construction. Ill keep my fingers crossed that a grocery store is put in there or 2700 university site (yes I live in prospect park!)

Agreed, a grocery store would go well there with apartments, light rail, and the prospect park neighborhood. Where is the closest place for people to shop who live in PPark? Probably university and Snelling with rainbow... Definitely a niche could be filled....even by a smaller store footprint like ...

Any chance there would be some simple retail ground floor? Coffee shop or something? The rest of the development is behind a decorative gate, so maybe that wouldn't work.

Anyone know if there is a grocery store in the future for this property? Or perhaps one at the new prospect park development at the prospect park LRT station? Seems like a small or medium sized grocery store could do well in this area since there is nothing of the kind for miles around.
