Great news about Select Comfort with 900 employees moving and a 211,000 square foot 15 year lease according to Startribune. As far as prudential goes I wonder if losing their helipad would be a deal breaker? I think HCMC's is the only one in downtown.

The only buildings still standing in that picture EOst posted other than the Harris building are the 2 on the far left and the one bottom right. My understanding is that the 2 on the left haven't been demolished yet only because they want the city to declare them blight first and the building bottom...

That's what I thought as well but there is a wrecking review application submitted on September 6 shown for these properties on the cities current applications map. That is not to say they will have problems getting the permit.

Glad to hear they are starting though I think they still need to get permission to demolish the buildings from the HPC.

I wonder if it would be possible to rotate 20 Washington 90 degrees and push it up against Marquette. That would would at least allow some development on that block and also allow for the possibility of running Nicollet through to a reconnected 2nd street.
