Kmart lease is with the property owners - it is my understanding that it would be rendered null and void - though there would be legal challenges and some compensation. If the city moves ahead and purchases the property this year, I highly doubt that just invalidates Kmart's lease. Their below mark...

It's not related to the stick construction. It's about the contractor doing a bad job of making the exterior waterproof.Those condos at Nicollet and Franklin are stick, right? Seems like they've had a lot of problems.

It is AMAZING how many obstacles there are between the front of the stadium and the park. For all intents and purposes, the bridge is the only connector. Sad.

They will lose value. The neighborhood may be going up in general, but these owners (shareholders, in the case of 2007 Aldrich) will absolutely take a hit on the value of their specific units. Could the affected buildings and the developer appraise, arbitrate, and settle on the value lost?
