Re: Hi-Lake - Minnehaha Mall (Target, Cub, etc.) - Downtown Longfellow
The Franklin/Minnehaha Taco Bell never had a drive thru. They definitely would have added one with the recent renovation if not for the pedestrian overlay zoning.

Re: 38th Street Corridor & 38th St Station/Lander Development
I hope they take the opportunity to bury the aerial utilities along 38th Street near the Cardinal and new building. The current situation is ugly, and the poles are encroaching pretty bad on the pedestrian space.

Re: Fiber Internet and TV Services, Cord Cutting
On the Reddit thread Travis indicated that what is drawn is phase 1 and there could be an additional phase 2 and 3 coming this summer. But yeah, I'm so close but they keep skipping my block.

Actually that project died. First & First sold it. I believe it will office space for PPL next door. There was some hope for community use space but I'm not sure how that conversation ended up.

Actually 5th will be removed between Chicago and Park and integrated in to the transit station plaza along with the portion of the Medical Examiners parking lot that will be used for events. There appears to be some plans for the section of the plaza on the other side of the tracks where the bridge ...

Re: Rush Line Corridor (Alternatives Analysis)
With the discussion in the Riverview project looking at a streetcar/LRT hybrid, I think interlining Riverview with Rush line and doing something similar could be a good idea. If the Rush Line train ran on E. 7th to Earl in mixed traffic and then joined the former RR corridor to head north to White B...

Re: Target Center Renovation
One thing it does better than the current configuration is the connection to Glenwood Ave (west from N. 2nd Ave) from 7th. There's even a turn lane so that you can know that maneuver is possible. Perhaps this could be a catalyst towards getting the one block of Glenwood that's one-way (over 394) tur...
