Re: Downtown East - Wells Fargo / Radisson Red / Edition Apt

If that is the case I'm not sure why there were no construction fronts for the Caribou. I'm sure I looked at the signs on the skyway correctly that stated what was going into each tower. Because the 550 had the Restaurant and an WF ATM, and what looked to be a possible service company. 600 was Carib...

Re: Suburbs - General Topics

Not sure is suburban cities can tax liquor like MPLS or St. Paul do, but if people want to have that as part of their theater experience then EP will lose out and the mall would probably see fewer dollars as guests would find other cities and theaters to go to. If EP does get alcohol tax rev, then t...

Re: Downtown East - Wells Fargo / Radisson Red / Edition Apt

Walked thru the WF west tower today from the Haaf ramp. Lot's of Beige and grays with a few wood brown accents. Nothing open yet in the west tower on the skyway. Lots of old pics done as large posters with the history of the city right now. The east tower is to have the Caribou/Einstein Bagels in th...

http://www.thedevelopmenttracker.com/map/ If you go to this website, the map lets you click on each of the buildings. Look at the count. Building 1: 200 Apartments Building 2: 110 Building 3: 110 Sure, but if you go to this website , run by the management of the Edition, you can count the number of...

Re: Downtown East - Wells Fargo / Radisson Red / Edition Apt

Just out of curiosity, has anyone actually been in the towers yet? I know that worker he started moving in last week Monday, I believe. I really would like to see pictures of the interior of the building. Hoping today to walk across the skyway from the Haaf Ramp to the West WF tower and see what th...

Re: Downtown East - Wells Fargo / Radisson Red / Edition Apt

I'm surprised about how big the gap is between the Red and the Wells Fargo tower. Part of the reason is the entrance to the underground area of the Well buildings. The Millwright can build right up to that entrance or incorporate it into the buildings design. The Red has to allow for the driveway t...

Re: North Loop Neighborhood

I'd be glad if they did the 8th as a street there even if it is not aligned. The 7th for me does not need to be a street, but a nice woofner there would be a great break in between buildings and allow for some outdoor seating area and pedestrian walkway thru that section so there would be less lengt...

Re: North Loop Neighborhood

Sorry but I'm not a good one to find those property maps, but did the company just use the land that was once 8th, or did the city actually sell that land to the company. If the city still owns the 8th ROW then re connecting will be a much easier chore. Verses having to ED the ROW to reestablish the...

Re: Downtown East - Wells Fargo / Radisson Red / Edition Apt

Went by the Wells Fargo Towers in the bus on my way to class and noticed that they took off the coverings and started to fix up what looks like concrete decorations or seals of some kind. They're rather nice looking and add some character to the lower levels of the building. Most if not all of thos...

The plywood is down at the New Bohmemia in the Blue. Looks like they added a couple of roll up doors going out to the sheltered patio. Looks like a lot of work has been done, so let's hope for an late March/early April opening.

I have to agree that I like the fact that this project has some SF with the number of 2 bedroom apartments. Nice to get beyond the one bedroom and micro units. Especially for this area.

Re: Downtown East - Wells Fargo / Radisson Red / Edition Apt

Noticed yesterday that there is a new cube being built on top of the 2 story entrance section of the old Whitney Hotel. I'm thinking it is a club room for the residence of the building. I think their group outdoor terrace is also on there too.

looks like they finally have the first floor built. this thing is going mighty slow... Might have something to do with the length of the building. Short length buildings seem to rise faster than longer/larger buildings. I think this building would be considered two of a regular length building. So ...

They probably come out ahead by donating due to the boxing and return to the shelves would be a lot of payroll. This way they can get who ever they donate to to come in and empty the store of merchandise. Plus the they get the tax write off for the donation.

This building is pretty much waiting for nice weather to get some of the siding put up. Most work right now is on the interior. The Abiitan next door has stick construction completed on the very east end of the building. They are doing this building like the Mill Quarter in sections. This one is eas...

Western 3rd of the last floor of the Rad Red is now making ti's way up. NO ROOF TRUSSES YET. Looks like once they have this project topped off the Millwright Building will be breaking ground so that will be under construction by summer. Will be happy to see both those blank walls of WF towers covere...

Re: Minneapolis Street Design

At least Minneapolis has street lighting. Ever been to Woodbury? Even the main roads are dark.
Don't want to have lights shining in any windows or giving light to burglars. Like burglars don't have night vision googles for when they break into Woodbury homes at night for that very reason!! LOL
