Re: Nicollet Mall

The idea we can abolish or reduce the size of the police department is insane. So is the idea that policing doesn't need reform. There are too many bad people, and too many bad cops. Something like a licensure board requirement for police, increased education requirements and an increased salary se...

Re: Calhoun Square

I immediately knew what the name referenced. But I am an “agency guy”. As an agency guy I also immediately knew that this new place name has no meaning to anyone. This little random reference to 7 points on the sign is not relevant to anything. How about “Many Empty Storefronts” using the same feebl...

The second one for the FAA lists a much taller building height but I think that is crane height during construction.

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Office Market

I think you’re right. I’ve spoken with a lot of company CSuite people I’ve worked with and they are all saying that even in the fall when they start to go back to the office many will work from home indefinitely. They also say that they may release some office space, so I suspect that the vacancy ra...

I drove by today... they sprayed that green sod material on a lot of the exposed soil... and there is an area with gravel dropped and spread in a small square area. Doesn’t look like construction prep to me - though there is one yellow construction vehicle on the lt as well.

Re: Northstar Commuter Rail

It is so dumb to not complete this line to St Cloud. The growth of that corridor demands better service and with over half of the route done it is time to finish... the conservatives just want to “prove” mass transit doesn’t work... I’m so glad St Cloud elected someone who wants to see this project ...

So this is no longer an Alatus project? CA Ventures bought the land and basically the same design and lobbed fifteen stories off and made it apartments? As the kids say, that's praxis.
Wow I missed that as I looked at the doc on google drive! CA Ventures is coming into this market in a huge way!
