Re: Roseville / Rosedale - General Topics
I was going to say, what is the plan for AMC parking? Basically that whole parking lot is eliminated. Of course, that lot was always really poorly circulated, but seems like they'd need a new ramp or something. if you look at the pdf east parking would have 4 levels with 1300 spots The West Parking...

Re: Iron Store - 528 Washington Ave N
im at a loss for words for how bad this is. if it was just an empty lot, whatever. this is actively ruining a unique spot which is way too rare in minneapolis. page 9 with the streetscaping vision is laughable. ooh a metal bench and a hosta!!

i wish they planned to preserve even more of the industrial stuff but this still looks great. repurposing industrial areas works incredibly well for music venues. see ferropolis, NDSM, half of Berlin.

Re: A Line - Arterial Rapid Bus
I am not optimistic on this one... especially since it seems like they don't have any communication with boston scientific and land o'lakes which is undergoing an expansion. Tcaap is the only dense housing up here and nothing is walkable. Im surprised they would even consider County C and Snelling a...

Re: Widening of Snelling Ave?
there is constantly the problem of traffic from c2/c not being able to turn onto snelling northbound because of congestion. If this was 3 lane road southbound i would be opposed. I am concerned about the pedestrian crossings however, there are constantly cars sitting on the crosswalk on C, a decent ...

i drive through the lincoln/c2 intersection prolly 50 times a week and these are good changes. Angling southbound Lincoln drive to the east will prevent people from running that stop sign which has almost caused me multiple accidents. Double left turn and barrier will prevent the UNW shuttle from bl...

Re: Major League Soccer Stadium
I drive through the snelling/ university intersection nearly every day and have been trying to figure out how this intersection can be modified to become more pedestrian friendly as the area changes. The biggest problem that will need to be fixed is access to the lrt station and the new A line. Ther...

Re: 2014 MN House Election
Today on the daily circuit, Kurt Daudt repeated a claim by Jeff Johnson that you could replace all bridges in MN that are in poor condition for the price of the SW line. Also argued that money should go to roads instead of public transit because the light rail isn't self sufficient. Yeah...roads nee...

I was browsing through different public transport systems and I was quite impressed with the C-train. A couple things i noticed are that there are numerous tunnels and bridges that speed up travel time and that the stations are well connected to the surrounding communities with walkways to stadiums,...
