Re: East of Pascal, West of Lexington, north of I-94

I agree. Its a shame that they moved target so far back from University. Something should be done about those front lots.

East of Pascal, West of Lexington, north of I-94

Any thoughts on the possible redevelopment of this area. Some of the current tenants include: Super target, Walmart, and others. To me, it just seems like there's a lot of wasted space being taken up by parking lots. I feel that target being so far south of University Avenue is a huge disservice to ...

Re: 365 Nicollet - (Opus Ritz block)

Interesting discussion regarding the podium. If this project is constructed, anyone have an idea when it will start? I agree with you, Wedgeguy. Why Minneapolis hasn't band parking podiums on Nicolette [sic] [sic] Mall is beyond me.

US Bank Stadium construction photos

I have a ton of U.S. Bank construction photos. Some of them from back when construction started. I thought it would be cool if we could put them all in one place.

Re: Rochester

Just out of curiosity, I have noticed that there has been a huge increase in development in Rodchester. Are there any plans to build light rail downtown?

Re: Lyndale & 66th Street area - Richfield

Opposite of Southtown.

I have not had the opportunity to visit the South Town area. I would be very interested in comparing and contrasting me the amount of empty parking spaces, to the amount of empty parking spaces left at the hub, during different times of the day.

Re: Lyndale & 66th Street area - Richfield

It would be so great to redevelop this. Just out of curiosity, Has anyone on this website made any fictional maps of what The area could look like? If done correctly, you could probably fit a ton of housing, retail, office, and potentially even an elementary school, if the population density were hi...

Re: Stadium Village 27-Story Tower (Harbor Bay Real Estate)

I remember reading about this. I haven't heard much more about it in recent months. Does anyone know if the development fell through? I don't think it ever even went before the planning commission. Aside from that one photo, I haven't heard any other details. Anyone know what's up?

Re: Hi-Lake and Minnehaha Mall Area (Target, Cub, etc.)

As A blind traveler, the intersection of Hiawatha at Lake Street is a complete disaster! It is great to see the development taking place west of Hiawatha and south of Lake. If my memory serves me right, they will be demolishing the adult education center in 2017.

Re: Lyndale & 66th Street area - Richfield

I wonder how feasible it would be to build a small speculative office development near the north west corner of Nicolet and 66th. Obviously nothing large, small would be just fine. The only condition I would place on the office development, is that it must have very little setback from the sidewalk....

Re: Lyndale & 66th Street area - Richfield

I did not know that the entire area was owned by one individual / group. I live near the hub apartments, so I shop at the Rainbow almost every other day. I love having rainbow there. It makes getting groceries very convenient for someone who is unable to drive. Each time I crossed 65th and walk thro...

Re: Lyndale & 66th Street area - Richfield

I live in the Hub area. Each time I pass by the end of the string of parking lots, I think to myself, it would be so great to see this area redeveloped. Can you imagine all the business rainbow foods would get if the density in the surrounding area were increased.

Re: Major League Soccer Stadium

First of all, I am vary pleased to see the site being developed. I do have some questions about the Strip mall that currently resides there. Does anyone know how long Rainbow's lease is for? I know some of the stores have 10 year leases, at least from what I have heard. Does that mean that somebody ...
