Aside from the Washington intersection, I think it looks good! And it was a nice surprise to see that the bikeway will be separated by a curb south of Fulton.

I remember Brian Lamb talking at a recent Transportation Committee meeting and admitting that the way they're doing the system ("piecemeal" was his word) didn't allow them to construct OMFs as efficiently as they'd like.

Since the buses are the same as the ones MT usually buys, just with some internal and external enhancements, I'm guessing only the front will kneel. They said that they'd go for "near level" boarding and do nine-inch sidewalks where they could, so the doors will probably not always be flus...

Was just looking at the layout for the Ford Parkway reconstruction today. I know this is way way late, but my lord this is a TERRIBLE layout for bikes. I looked at it and saw 6' bike lanes and thought "Oh well, that's not that bad" and then I looked at the parking lanes. Seven feet. SEVEN ...

So the curb extension with a foundation has been sitting at 7th and Hennepin/1st for quite awhile now with no progress. Anyone know if this was delayed by the high bid for the A-line stations? Or was there planned to be a gap in work?

I'd imagine the service they plan to run is pretty prime.
