Here is the approved plan for the area around Minnehaha and 46th, which is slowly coming together. A high quality development at 4561 Minnehaha Avenue would really help.

The site is 18,000 sf, but if they could somehow acquire the lot north on Minnehaha it would make things much easier. Either way, it is a great lot, but maybe the development should be more akin to West River Commons.

It is a shame this project is getting cut down. VJAA was working on the pavilions and it would have been an amazing way to highlight one of our best local architecture firms. Hopefully people realize that this is an important investment for our city and make additional contributions.

It would be great to see Target put this kind of care into the store at Minnehaha and Lake. I know it is a difficult landlord, but I am sure Target could pressure them to redevelop the land.
