Yeah, not to hate on this guy but he owns so many apartments and complexes there it sounds like he just doesn't want to risk price reductions of like maybe 100 $ on the apartments rent. He came there with some fancy business woman to prove his point.

Across the street is a massive piece of land. I'd hope for something much more ambitious than either of these proposals here. It could go a long way toward connecting the heart of the NE arts district with everything that's happening on Central.

This one has a big impact on the area. I think this would be a great place to live, especially with the proximity to Dusty's.

I'm hoping the incentives get really sweet in Sept/Oct, when my current lease is up. I'm ready to move beyond the $650-750/mo soiled carpet & smelly hallways life. It's a shame there's so little available in that medium range $800-$950 level in the Whittier area. Citywide even, there's not much...

Dude, that's the point. I do care. We all care. It's interesting and exciting. But "I contacted the dude that can't share anything useful anyway" is an entirely empty post. Just like this one. What good is this attitude? Some of us find speculation to be the most fun thing on city forums....
