Re: Minneapolis - St. Paul Business News

I hope you meant Cray Research and not Crazy Research.

I refuse to believe that there was a company on the fortun 500 in 1990 called Crazy Research ;)
Maybe that's why they are no longer around.....LOL
Sorry about that, and I didn't even have a gin-tonic in hand.

Re: City Walk Uptown

Good luck renting the units that face Stella's roof deck, how many people would want to watch and listen to that crowd of idiots every night......but then those idiots need a place to live, how convenient City Walk would be for them. :D

Well, maybe it's a little better than that. How about a North Korean housing project for elite party officials?? ;)
Isn't that what Kenwood is

Re: Minneapolis - St. Paul Business News

Land O'Lakes was on there in 1990. Also it's fascinating to see the time capsule that is the 1990 Fortune 500. It seems like half of the list was industrial/manufacturing, and many in industries which are antiquated now. I'm trying to figure out which companies were in MN in 1990 but are now not on...

Yes they are moving right along with this project. They are gutting the old building while driving steel pilings for the addition.

Re: Orchestra Hall

If you head down to Peavy for one last look you won't find a waterfall, nothing has been operating all summer and I don't expect it to be turned back on. One thing you find plenty of will be panhandlers, drunks and drug dealing. Pretty disgusting IMO. I support the idea of "Occupy" but the...

Re: Trader Joes (Lyndale and 27th)

TraderJoes needs to get into the Downtown game with either a TJ's or the non-yuppie version Aldi's. Yes, east of the Guthrie area would be ideal. Would attract shoppers from both downtown and the U of M. How about south Nicollet at 18th, redo the whole parcel north of Plymouth Church, Aldi & ha...
