Just think of the number of doctors, NPs, PAs, CRNAs and other professions at HCMC and the U of M hospital. That is large number of people, many that may prefer to live close to work. Not to mention pharmaceutical sales that need to be close to hospitals and easy access to the airport. This is a gre...

I agree to a point, but you are hiring a realtor to work in your best interest, complete the due diligence on the property you are looking at, and ensure you are informed. A realtor doesnt just write up the contract and take a commission of 3% for nothing!

Any realtor worth anything would inform their client of potential view obstructions. This includes any units sold in Legacy. Unfortunately, there are a lot of realtors that only want their clients to buy/sell as soon as possible so they can get their commission. So there are a lot of unit owners ups...

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Office Market
How much would it cost to build a building the size of WFC now. Including the cost to remodel, the market would seem to support an investment firm like this just building a new building.

Re: MSP Airport
Of all the airports I have been to in the US, MSP is absolutely one of the best. I will agree that I hate the airports where you go thru security after many of the food options and different concourses. Fort Myers is a good example of that, and so is Denver. Denver has the best food options prior to...

Re: Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)
Has the timing for the Green Line been shortened? I though I remembered that it was close to an hour from end to end when it first opened.
Also, 36 minutes from EP to downtown seems really fast considering how long of a route that is.

Re: The Hilton Rochester (former Broadway at Center project)
Drove by this the other night. They are about halfway done with the facade. Inside looks to be making really good progress. The 4th floor ballroom could be seen thru the windows and is pretty much complete already. Love these clear windows that really allow the building to interact with the street i...

Re: Rochester
I don't think there are any immediate plans to develop the property. I suspect the developer is tearing it down before any additional efforts can be made to block the demolition. Exactly. A project was all set up, but demo of the Days Inn was holding it up. Those plans are now gone, but the owner w...

I hate to be the guy that thinks everything should be taller, but if this project was even just 5 stories higher, i think that would really help break up this stretch of buildings.

Once sales go through, they won't be confidential anymore. You can search the owner and how much they paid on the county website: https://www.hennepin.us/residents/property/property-information-search Problem is, those will be pending sales until the tower is complete. So a person buying before the...

Re: Stadium Parking Ramp Development Site
I don't get how the parking is accessed thru the current ramp. I didn't see that in the plans at all. Just looked like you are hoping those spots are empty in the ramp, so you can drive thru them to the parking for this building.

Re: Suburban Malls and Associated Retail News
I wonder if Scheel's would ever consider the Twin Cities market? They are very popular in the cities they are in. The recently built a new wing onto the mall here in Rochester a few years ago, and has been VERY successful. The place is always busy, and we personally get a lot of stuff there.

Re: The Expo - 215 2nd St SE (285' - 26 Stories)
Just speculation here, but could it be that the developer knows that financing is only going to get more expensive in the years to come with rising interest rates? Why not lock in the financing now when rates are still low and get these projects done since they have already done the design legwork.

Why would a Walgreens at a tourist destination have a pharmacy? The amount of people that would actually use it to pick up prescriptions would not pay the cost of the pharmacists. Most people use it as a convenience store, not a pharmacy.

Re: Rochester
Looks like the first 3 medical floors will be the same design, followed by the 4th level being glass all around. Kind of transitions into the hotel portion with all glass. I agree that it looks odd right now, but i am sure the final plans will look much better. Are you sure the marble is in Italy? I...
