I don't think block E should be a public plaza. There isn't enough entertainment there yet. Like it needs to be continued to be built along there, but something needs to replace it. Also It would be a very unsafe public plaza :p

Well downtown does have a real city park, Loring Park is a real city park serving a large number of residents that live in that area. But still I completely agree, they need another one serving workers and the people in newly built apartments by the library.

At40 the problem with Minneapolis was that it was built and designed in an era when nobody lived in Minnepolis. What I mean, many people moved out to the suburbs, but worked downtown. There came the existence of massive buildings with surface parking lots and extra wide, less city feel type streets....

Yes but a multi location concept. Or in this case, different types of restaurants for with this company, which I like. Like they have more money than a mom and pop, but its not an applebees. Its the perfect inbetween.

Also, I don't think we have the density to do that. Like when you have a tiny restaurant that you have to have a lot of people walking by, since they are hard to notice when driving by. You got it right on. Small wasn't by size, more like a small company or group, not a chain. Size wise, that is big, concept wise it is not.

I like the restaurant going in there, it shows that not all new developments always fill up with Subway's and applebee's. Some smaller, cooler restaurants can be in a new building.

My grandmother lives across the street in the Nicollet towers across the street. It has perfect views from over top, for now, of the building. I will take some pictures and upload them as soon as I visit her.
