Have they identified possible stations for the connector? Is see it lists 6-7 stops, but not locations.

The connector would just be a regular bus route, so stops probably ever few blocks.

So I do believe the routing is going to come down whether or not a bill about municipal consent for transit guideway projects passes the MN Legislature. If it doesn't I see the Met Council going ahead with the original LPA. If it does pass, then a new terminus will have to be chosen.

Yeah the idea is to provide a good connection with SWLRT. The southbound station already exists, so only the northbound has to be built at 5th.

Well these amendments probably won't make it through, cause the house bill would have to have it as well, and I don't see that happening.

I’m willing to bet NIMBYs would still complain about a connector bus link going through White Bear Lake.

White Bear Lake used to have a local route between Maplewood Mall and Downtown WBL, but you probably aren't wrong.

No, but a week would be nice. As I've seen signs up that still say Mask mandate extended through Jan 22. So obviously a transition period would seem to be helpful. And this part is a bit off topic, but Republicans complain about legislating from the bench, but applaud this, its hypocrisy.

Florida federal judge strikes down mask mandate for public transportation. So short sighted, doesn't give any agency the time to prepare to transition or anything, but what should I expect in this country anymore.

Well got this in the mail today, so the routing looks to be along West Broadway, which in my opinion is the better option!
