Re: U.S. Bank Stadium Construction Updates

What are you talking about? The stadium is basically completed. I haven't heard anything about the light rail tracks being torn up.

Re: East of Pascal, West of Lexington, north of I-94

I haven't been by there lately. What is that land currently being used for? From what I can remember, nothing.

Re: Mall of America - Bloomington

What exactly is a golf entertainment center? Does it have indoor facilities where people can practice their golf swing, and play virtual golf? Not trying to sound sarcastic or rude, I'm honestly just curious.

Re: Minnesota Transportation Funding (General)

Just out of curiosity, let's say the state legislature is unable to come up with a means of raising revenue for public transportation. Are there other ways in which metro transit, and other suburban providers generate revenue, besides raising fares. As I'm sure all of you reading this now, public tr...

Re: Nicollet Hotel Block

So, since they are going to be showing renderings of the building proposed for the Nicolette [sic] [sic] hotel block, does that mean that construction could start this year? Obviously that's assuming that the planning commission approves it and everything. I'm just curious to know if anyone has any ...

Re: Legacy Condominiums - 121 12th Ave S

The problem is, most of the people who buy condos will not be your young active, fresh out of college, folks. They will be older adults, whom may not be able to walk that distance to get to a light rail.

Re: U.S. Bank Stadium Construction Updates

I thaught this fourm was for talking about the stadium construction. Can we get some Admins to take out all the stuff about the street naming. At the end of the day, does it really matter what the street is named.

Re: Nicollet Hotel Block

I thought the Hennepin Avenue we design wasn't going to occur until 2020, is the Hennepin Avenue redesign design a separate project from the Hennepin Avenue reconstruction?

Re: New Kraus-Anderson HQ (9th St. S/5th Ave. S)

this is the best development happening downtown.
I totally agree. I was looking at the prior ideas proposed by Kraus Anderson. They really did a nice job making full use of the block. Hopefully we get to see more developments like this. Way to go KA!!!

Re: Legacy Condominiums - 121 12th Ave S

So let's say this thing passes the planning commission and the council, any ideas as to when it would start construction? Is the demand there for this many new condos? Another thing I am curious about, is whether the condominium project is located near any public transit stops.

Stadium village development

I don't know if there's already another thread about this; if so please feel free to move it. I was riding the greenline today, and I started thinking about the massive parking lot just East of Stadium Village station. Any chances of it being developed? I believe, at one point there was a motel ther...

Re: Franklin and Chicago

Well I was walking along Chicago, I noticed that there are several places that look under utilized. Is there any possibility of redevelopment in the future? It would be nice to get a mixed-use, mixed income development near the corner of Chicago and Franklin.

Re: RISE at Prospect Park - 2929 University Ave SE

Does anyone know when demolition/construction will start? I would like to go over and get some pictures of the demolition process. I try to take a train ride to that area at least once a week. From what I can see, it doesn't look like much is going on.
