Re: MSP Airport
To anyone's knowledge, has MSP had any nonstop service to Palm Beach, post NWA? If not, interesting that we now have two carriers. Also interesting is DL going after SY here (DL announced after SY) when they have usually left each other alone.

Re: MSP Airport
I would imagine Intra-Asia flying for Delta has to move to HND in order to support flights to the other destinations. Otherwise, there would not be enough traffic flow into those routes.

Re: MSP Airport
MSP may see another carrier enter from a different Asian city. ICN has been discussed. I see this as a product of where the market is heading, from NRT to HND, based upon the agreement between the US and Japan. DL may need to find a partner, in this case, or they may be stuck in this current situati...

Re: MSP Airport
Is it possible or even probable the carriers now switching to HND would create opportunities for one-stops to BKK and SIN?

Re: MSP Airport
Correct. I think it's about being the only non-stop option from MSP whereas DFW has multiple.

Re: MSP Airport
It makes sense even down to the color MAC used on the report diagram. I was just wondering if there was any fact behind it, other than our guesses.Just conjecture, but Sun Country and Southwest are all 737 fleets, but JetBlue flies A320's. Of course, so does Frontier and Spirit...

Re: MSP Airport
Some info on the T2 Gate Expansion. Interesting note on page 10 of the document, MAC illustrates potential 2016 usage and layout. It would appear Sun Country will take over H1-H7, Southwest with H8-H11 and some overflow at night and in the morning to H12. Then there is an A320 at H13...no clue what...

Noticed the file name as well. Overlooked for the same reason you do. Pay so much to consultants and they often miss the details.

Re: MSP Airport
Correct, LGW is no more. Delta flies to Heathrow. For some reason, it is not listed on the document as well as the FCO (Rome) flight Delta operates seasonally.

Re: MSP Airport
Somewhat as expected, Southwest extended their schedule through March 7th. Nothing additional for MSP except the return of a Saturday-only nonstop to FLL. Starts January 7th through March 4th (as of now). MSP-FLL #2637 dep. 6:55 arr. 11:30 737-700 FLL-MSP #5536 dep. 18:25 arr. 21:20 737-800

Important mainlines, yes. How often is there congestion because of bridges being single-tracked? Cost difference in single v. double?

I have used the direct, no plane change service to New Orleans and Tampa in the past. Good alternative if non stops are too expensive

Re: MSP Airport
I've been wondering if anyone has knowledge of where those gates will go. I understand at least one will be general purpose, similar to H6. So in theory, one could go to each. Good utilization is 8 flights per day (4 in, 4 out). I could see Southwest adding BNA, LAS, and DAL. Sun Country is adding a...

Re: MSP Airport
Looks like Southwest will be launching service to Nashville (BNA), and possibly weekly flights to Cancun. Airliners.net forum has another poster mentioning BNA getting new Southwest service to multiple cities, including MSP, in the July 7th Schedule extension. Maybe it will come to fruition this ti...

Re: Eagan, Apple Valley, Burnsville - General Topics
I do not have access to read the article, so forgive me if this is a dumb question, but how does Amazon wish to use this proposed facility in Eagan while having 1M SF in Shakopee? Routing east vs. west? Amazon Prime Now?
