Buses are easily the worst aspect of the mall right now for me. They're loud, spew fumes and pile up 4 deep constantly. No one is going to go on that center island when they have to dodge buses constantly. Also is this planning in conjunction with the street car? Or is that later and they will have ...

About Le Parisien though is it's not abandoned. Just the retail hasn't leased, and having walked past it hundreds of times, it's a good looking building. Abandoned buildings that are falling apart and unkempt are bad for a neighborhood, sure, but no buildings going up around uptown will be abandoned...

I think its just them trying to diversify their holding away from just casinos, and considering the train wreck that was the downtown Minneapolis proposal casino I doubt they are looking for a casino in St. Paul.

Yeah pedestrian gate arms seems pretty silly, if the person isn't deterred from crossing by the flashing lights and blaring noise, I doubt a little gate would convince them.

I remember 2 years ago after a big snow, the 113, ALL the 113s were an hour+ late, then about 4 or 5 of them struggled up lyndale all at once. Good grief.The 12 was over 20 min late getting from uptown to downtown this morning. Would be nice to get some rail to uptown
