The Governor's bonding proposal includes a little more than $12 million for the Grand Rounds Missing Link:

It would be pretty exciting to actually see movement on this.

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Office Market

St. Paul's interfacing with the river is still very bad in downtown. Granted, it has more of a severe bluff to deal with than Minneapolis, but Minneapolis is working towards a world-class river park on the downtown periphery, while St. Paul is still trying to figure out simply how to get people past...

Can see the breakdown here: https://metrocouncil.org/Council-Meetings/Committees/Transportation-Committee/2019/June-10,-2019/Info-1-2019-1st-Quarter-Ridership-Report.aspx The worst gap relative to 2018 was January. Looks like a decrease in that month of >10%, significantly worse than February and Ma...

Re: Public Transit News and Current Happenings

decided to crunch some numbers a little and try to estimate how much non-bus modes (lRT, BRT, etc) make up Metro's total ridership numbers: 2014: 19.8% 2015: 27.6% 2016: 29.7% 2017: 32.0% 2018: 34.0% I know its no where close to painting an accurate picture, but if the ~2% increase per year that's ...

Re: Street, Road and Highway Projects

My interpretation is that 29-32 are all components of aBRT, so this would boost the B, D and E lines. Nice to see these moving closer to fully-funded ($27 million total here).
