Re: Izzy's Ice Cream Factory
I was just going to re-post a thread on this! I had heard they would be selling by the scoop there as well. I can't imagine you wouldn't in one of the newest most thriving residential areas downtown. I really hope they come through with this one. With the colors in this rendering, I think it would r...

Van White Memorial Bridge
I think this is pretty exciting, a great link for two neighborhoods, great for biking as well as cars. And is going to create amazing opportunities for the development of that land in such a great underutilized area! http://www.minnpost.com/two-cities/2012/06/minneapolis%E2%80%99-new-van-white-road-...

Does anyone have potential renderings of phase II? I remember the original plan being really grand and fantastic.

Re: Vikings Stadium
Personally I'm really glad the Vikes Stadium isn't going next to the Twins' Stadium. (like in that picture) Target field is scaled so well for that neighborhood and a football field would just dwarf it. DT East is way better (and with better potential) scaled for a football field.

Re: Minneapolis Armory
I was thinking it would be awesome if they could glass up some of the roof, and have a year round farmers market/plaza type place. That could coexist with events and such. I just wish it could become a real awesome viable space for the city.

Re: The Walkway
I thought I heard Slims might move into Mossaic, but I don't remember where I saw it... Micky D's can totally go, and fill in that lot next to Calhoun Square... Urbanize Rainbow... Planned Parenthood... Arby's... and we'll be sitting pretty good

Re: Bottineau LRT
It's definitely a mistake not to go through North, where the people could really use it to access jobs. Maple Grove also seems like the way to go, that or both.

The Walkway - (1312 West Lake Street)
Anybody heard anything new about this? It would probably be the most exciting, vital addition to the uptown area if it were built.

Re: 1368 LaSalle Ave development
I'd like to see them both built. There is no reason Minneapolis' CBD and residential areas don't have a higher density!
