Re: 46th & Hiawatha Mixed Use (Oppidan/Greco Project)
You haven't even seen what they're going to do with this space so how can you make such a denigrating statement?Until Cub abandons their awful branding and 'warehouse' styling, there will be no such thing a an 'urban Cub Foods'.

Re: Chanhassen - Chaska - Carver County - General Topics
That is a really good project for Chanhassen. That area could really be a node for business and living with a handful more projects like this. Hopefully, the NIMBYs will just stay home.

Re: Arterial Transit Corridor Study ("rapid bus")
Can someone provide justification to this idea of 1:1 parity between St. Paul and Minneapolis when it comes to transit projects? Minneapolis is a bigger city is it not?
Serious question, not loaded and no snark.

GOP control of the MN legislature. David Hann lost as well. O_o
One good thing to come from last night. Ilhan Omar is the first Somali-American ever to be elected to a state level legislature. I'm very proud of my district (to be fair a Somali-American would have won the district anyway, but yeah).

Re: MSP Airport
You can get to the LRT platform from the bikeable areas at T2. It's not perfect, but you can walk it or ride right up to the platform. There should really be an underground bike storage facility at T2 connected to the platform where the adjacent construction trailer park is. Considering that is plan...

The new lights on the four main corners are a nice new addition to the 100 Washington building. Looks like purple is the choice de jour.

Do you know the name of this place? There's appears to be a new Indian restaurant that popped up in the old Taste of Thailand space on 7th just east of Hennepin. It's been there for at least a month or so.

Re: Washington Avenue
Buildings are not art. I would *love* to see you try to define art in a way that could never include buildings. For the first time in my life I agree with EOst. Buildings are absolutely art. Many of them have art integrated into the building. I'm curious to hear your argument as to why/how building...

They are a purple-grey like color. I'll take a picture on the way home. Also, the brickwork has been coming along nicely. It's hard to tell from a bad webcam pic, but the gray on the north wing looks nice

Is it at all possible that the state reimburses the three entities that committed more money at a later date? Say when/if the DFL take control of the legislature this November or is that not possible?

Nice pictures Aaron. I was walking by these yesterday. I think your first picture captures the essence of these buildings well. The siding on these buildings floors 2 and up is just terrible, but the brick work is really nice.
