Ok. I think the NIMBY comes from Prospect Park on the south side of university being designated a historic district but on the north it seems to be fair game. It is nice that it's filling a void. But gotta say I would never pay $1,200-1,400 a month for a bedroom without a window... especially when you can have a mortgage on an entire house for a little more than half that.

Agreed. After 94 is capped the next best place to go would be 35w from between 26th st and Franklin. A park right there would have some killer views, and do wonderful things for that area.
