Re: Eleven (Ryan Condo Tower) - 1111 West River Parkway - 39 stories / >450'
This is a very Buckhead, Atlanta type project/setting. Also, legit 528 Feet...that would sadly be the tallest building built since what? Dain Raucsher and First Bank Place in 1992?

Re: Market Bar-B-Que Apartment project - 1400 Nicollet
Hmm, I kind of wish they would make an entrance to the building on LaSalle as well, instead of just the 2 apartment entries. I must admit, I am kind of sad to see some of these storefronts go....looks like a decent development though.

So basically it is just going to be super plain looking now. Seriously, the spire and the mullion pattern were like the biggest part of their architectural pitch...

So this is where the old motel that was most recently a Ramada was? Challenging location with the folks lining up there for the shelter/kitchen.

Re: Nicollet Mall
I don't think it was Super Bowl prep? There were problems with those lights that were pretty noticeable when using them. Red light would turn then it would take a solid 5 seconds to switch to walk, then another 2 for green. Hasn't it always been like that on Nic? It seems to me I have always notice...

Nice!
I also noticed there will be lighting sort of like this, but horizontally on some of the balconies at 365 Nic. It is also on their newer on site renderings, but I don't recall seeing the lighting scheme on previous ones.

Re: United Properties / Four Seasons "Gateway" Project (Nicollet Hotel Block)
The skyways aren't a catalyst to development anymore. I wouldn't say that...it is still very desirable to be connected. Look at how Thrivent's plans unfolded. I am willing to bet the skyway connection has played a part in Alatus latest announced project too...and Four Seasons wouldn't commit to thi...

Re: Uptown Retail & Restaurant News
I hope this Taco John's news is real although I fear it's not. I've long said a Taco Bell/ Taco John's would do well in Uptown. Especially one of Taco Bell's newer concepts that serve alcohol. That would do well in Uptown (replace Arby's???). However, I love Taco John's so I wouldn't mind that eith...

I am just wondering if, by the time this is all cleared up...they will still be able to finance. That is more what I was talking about. Not whether they would like to move forward.
