The problem is that invariably the pavement and the manhole will settle at different rates, so no matter how careful you are to get it flush, it'll be off in no time.

Seriously, we probably should cull through some of the better threads where this has been discussed and have it in a FAQ, because it's something that comes all the flippin' time these days.

The extent of driveway that they're showing probably isn't necessary, but they'll need to provide for some sort of drop-off / pick-up, because the existing two lane bridge certainly can't accommodate that, and that's the only way you can get to that site by car.

Why six stories?
